Some people say “favorites”, others say “on my radar,” but I’ll just call it “things I’m loving”. Every few weeks or so I’ll write about some of the things that I’m loving. The concept is quite simple. These posts will not be limited to specific categories. I will write about anything: books, people, shoes, products, music, you name it, I’ll probably write about it. I think one of the best ways to learn about new things is by word of mouth, so here I go.
First Aid Beauty Radiant Face Moisturizer:
The saying, “You don’t know what you’ve got until its gone,” reigns true. At the beginning of December, I ran out of my go-to face moisturizer. While this is seemingly a first world problem, I truly didn’t realize how much I needed it until I didn’t have it anymore. In the time between running out and getting a new one I used a few moisturizers that I found lying around my vanity. Nothing quite lived up to the quality of my go to, especially now that it’s winter and my skin is always dry. It’s safe to say that I couldn’t make it through a whole month without replacing my First Aid Beauty Radiant Face Moisturizer. This holy grail item is now a staple in my skincare routine and will be used for years to come.
I had one of these last year and half way through the year I stopped using it. While I was still able to remain organized during my passion planner hiatus, as soon as I started using it again, I realized how amazing the planner was. It definitely kept me focused on my goals, and as we head into a new year and goal setting becomes more-and-more important, I have enjoyed putting this planner to use. In the planner, you can schedule your day in 30-minute increments from 6 am to 11 pm. It also allows you to focus on your goals for each day and week while keeping your to-do lists and inspirational quotes in front of you. This planner has that and a whole lot more to offer, so if you’re into planning and organization I highly suggest that you check it out.
There is nothing worse than walking into a room and feeling overwhelmed. After a summer of spending money on items rather than experiences, I walked into my college dorm room and demanded change. I mean how many jackets does a girl need? Towards the end of 2016, I truly took pride in minimizing my possessions and plan to continue that journey in 2017. My goal is to live with what I need, no more and no less. I want to spend more money on experiences, not things, and to live a clutter-free lifestyle. More posts on minimalism coming soon.
Fun fact about me… I love YouTube! Honestly, I don’t need cable, YouTube is enough entertainment. But one of my favorite YouTube Channels to tune into is Sara Dietschy. She is a super talented and hard-working YouTuber that dropped out of college and pursued her dream for visual story telling through video. Her work is truly amazing and she has a documentary series called Creative Spaces TV that I really enjoy. She has definitely inspired me to pursue my passions in freelance videography, photography, and writing in 2017. So, if you get a chance, check out her work. You’ll find vlog (video log/video diary) content, tech reviews, and as mentioned before her documentary series.
Leave a comment below with some of your recent favorites, and if you plan on trying any of mine. There are so many amazing things out there, spread the word, tell a friend, and help others discover them too.
